Sure trying to eat fairly healthy and engaging in some type of regular physical activity can lead to weight loss, a dress or suit a couple sizes smaller, a more fit body….maybe even an ab or two if you really commit.  You also may feel better about yourself, start to really like what you see in the mirror and even get a major ego boost.

 

However, I submit to you THE MOST IMPORTANT benefit of trying to eat healthy and committing to some type of regular physical activity is …….DRUM ROLL PLEASE………

Although not one of us will get out of this life alive being healthy increases your chances of living a LONGER life….and the healthier you are the longer you probably want to live!

 

Well would you be surprised that 6 of the 10 leading causes of death are in some way related to diet and exercise….or lack thereof?

#1 Heart Disease

#2 Cancer

#5 Stroke

#6 Alzheimer’s Disease

#7 Diabetes

#9 Kidney Disease

 

We all have to die of something but maybe we can avoid these nasty killers….at least until we are maybe say…. 120 years old anyway!

I would definitely say these are six GOOD reasons to try to get serious about what we eat and exercising.
